Prairie Farms Shullsburg-White Hill Cheese Plant
Like Shullsburg Creamery, White Hill Cheese is also located in Shullsburg, Wisconsin. White Hill Cheese began as a joint venture operation in 2010, producing Swiss cheese, Baby Swiss, as well as our grass-fed varieties. When Tara Schaal first set foot into the majestic sandstone caves on her first day on the job at Caves of Faribault, her first thought was, “Who knew this much work went into cheese?!” Now it is Tara’s hard work and dedication in her dual roles as both Warehouse Supervisor and Affinage Supervisor that keep operations running smoothly.

Shullsburg Creamery takes pride in its hometown roots, and its newest General Manager is no stranger to tradition. In fact, the small town of Shullsburg has been the backdrop for a significant portion of Gabe Wand’s life and career, and he’s looking forward to making big things happen here in his new role.
